You try something and see if the error is still there. it wont boot and is stuck at the screen with HP invent LOGO. Did you test that the system is compatible with Windows 7 before installing it via the MS Window 7 Readiness tests (I think)? Boot ok to new BIOS, still something wrong with the Windows 10 as sluggish startup and sometimes stops responding to mouse or keyboard.

When I released the power button (still holding the Insert/Scroll button depressed), the computer came up and Windows booted. if you want to see what is loading during the boot process download CCleaner at the link below. It ended up that all I had to do on my pavilion m6 was to remove the battery and hard drive at the same time.
