This is not a device driver issue. But I don't know if it is enough people complaining for Microsoft to care. I decided to uninstall Mcafee totally and enable the Windows Defender instead.

I left after 2 1/2 hours of talking to both technical and marketing people with quite some doubt about their competence. What the hell. These should be drivers for it then: I am not familiar with the Toshiba or HP laptop but try installing the drivers (assume you're 64bit?) over the top of what is I'm on an Asus K550J laptop with a Realtek 8821AE Wireless Lan 822.11ac PCI-E NIC adapter. 04-05-2016 03:32 PM Like 0 3 bjay51 I am probably having the same problem

When googling the issue it seems a lot of people have problems with the upgrade to 10, or brand new pcs with it already there. No Model Number - nothing. Give it a shot and let us know if it worked for you. 07-31-2015 02:32 PM Like 0 16 sugarbowl Good find! So I installed manually again from the Intel site and it works great now.

Cannot help with the photos. If I disable all adapters, except one, I do see these drop-outs way less often. So WiFi still hangs and the system still crashes after module unload + reload. Re: Realtek RTL8723BE weak wifi signal Hi, since your wifi does not function correctly on 15.10 i recommend you try the stable LTS long term support 14.04 15.10 is only supported

This is a used item so it may be dirty / very dirty / faded / yellow'ish / sctratched / liquid marked / rusty and or have stickers / tape marks By the way the BT seems to be fine - although I have not checked cause I do not need BT. --------------------------------------------- Here is what I tried: rfkill list all; hciconfig It has the same issues that others have, shows that it is still connected, but not... If it isn't up to scratch, get the vendor to fix it!

The only thing that works is shutting down and restarting, up to five times before the wi-fi shows up. If I click on the wifi icon to view the available networks and un-check all the boxes for “connect automatically”, close and re-open the dialog, then they are all checked again.
