I Am Convinced Vista Updates Are Problem

This had been driving me nuts. The only few things I didn't do yet were: 1) - Run the MicrosoftEasyFix50202.msi tool in aggressive mode (GRrrrrr); 2) - didn't do step 4b @ - below 4. Just overheating the CPU & mobo. After this windows update would not work. get redirected here

Did it attempt to boot, etc. vista home should be okay for running savage anyway ... And the User Account Control dialog pops up even for stupid things like renaming an icon.I also despise that is is soo much slower. Both are 1TB drives.

Hello. Depending on the last time you managed to successfully run Windows Update, only one or two of those updates might have been missing from your system. In August, installing the one available Kernel-mode update 1st reduced update scanning time to 28 min.
